Retargeting ads are Facebook and Instagram ads shown only to people who've already visited your website, watched your video or engaged with your page. They're warm leads, not strangers, and they convert at a much lower cost.

Do I need a lot of website traffic to retarget?

Helpful but not essential. Meta needs roughly 100 pixel events to start optimising properly. If you're light on traffic, we usually pair retargeting with a small cold campaign or video views to build the audience first.
